Lindsey M. Pickel

Experience

Lindsey Pickel has organized and represented large coalitions on many environmental and land use issues. Lindsey has particular experience in endangered species issues, water management, beach management, Florida’s growth management laws, and in drafting legislation for environmental protection. She also assists organizations with grant funding proposals as well as establishing and organizing regional or issue specific campaigns.

Prior to Collins Law Group Ms. Pickel was with Collins & West, PA. She also interned with the Everglades Law Center and Ocean Conservancy.

Civic

Ms. Pickel is a member of a non-profit cave diving and exploration organization that assists the scientific community with data and sample collection from remote locations and cave sites around the world. Through this organization she assists local governments and research organizations, both nationally and internationally, with cave discovery, survey, sampling, and data collection. Ms. Pickel has published articles on these findings and speaks at conferences and seminars.

Ms. Pickel has worked in international locations as a 100 ton US Coast Guard Captain, a SCUBA Instructor, and marine science instructor. Ms. Pickel is also a member of a sponsored triathlon team.
