ExperienceMs. Eldridge was instrumental in Nantucket Island’s successful challenge of the Sconset Beach Nourishment Project. She organized and represented the interests of the local fishermen and led a public awareness campaign of the environmental impacts of beach nourishment. She also assisted in organizing a citizens’ coalition whose efforts ultimately resulted in a town vote against the project and withdrawal of the permit application.Prior to the Collins Law Group, Ms. Eldridge successfully represented corporations and individuals in southern and central Florida as a civil defense litigator in the fields of insurance coverage, bad faith, fraud, and fire/theft litigation. She also practiced real estate, land use, and corporate law on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. |
